Yo submissions

**** So, you want us to post your content? Cool, we love our readers and wanna help you out, but please follow these instructions carefully. Remember we are an Internet media platform – and do not need any files that are too big to send via email. If we can’t watch it right there, we’re never going to watch it. ****

Submitting for the People’s Court

Send the link to your edit (preferably on vimeo or Youtube) to [submissions at Yobeat.com]. Please put “People’s Court” in the subject line.

Submitting via Instagram

Please send the link to your instagram post to  @yobeat. Don’t just tag us, you’ll get lost in the mix. ***MUSIC RIGHTS DISCLAIMER.**** If your edit has music that may get us put into social media jail (IE is from a band signed to a record label at ANY POINT IN TIME), warn us and plan on having us MUTE your edit. You may also submit a version with NO MUSIC via a file transfer service.

Submitting via Facebook

YoFacebook

Message us the link or photos through Facebook Messager. Facebook submissions will only be considered for placement on Facebook. If you’d like us to crosspost your videos, READ THIS.

Submitting for the Blog

YoWEBSITE

We don’t have the time or energy to post every 2-minute edit. But that’s what makes getting your submission on the site so much better than social media. If you think your edit is blog-worthy, please include an explanation of why. Include the following info: Riders (and their @instahandles if applicable), Location, and filmer.

Photos need to be 1032 px on the horizontal (landscape) side. Do not send us a zip file. Make sure each file name includes the rider – photographer – location. Email them to us at submissions @ yobeat (put it in email form, duh) and we will find a place if we have one.

Yobeat.com is a volunteer-run, independent media outlet, and in order to keep the lights on and the robots running, we charge an administrative fee for all accepted content submissions. The good news is, we’d love to share your content! If you’re interested in your own post on the website with a hand-crafted image and write up, as well as promotion across all of our social networks, we’d love to do this for you for $150* USD. If you’d prefer to be included in a less-formal mash up post with other quality content, we accept donations on sliding scale from $30-$100*. Please include in your email with how much you would like to donate and we will take care of you in the most hilarious and amazing way possible. Thanks for your interest support and whatever you do, don’t stop snowboarding!

*these one-off, late-season rates are for the 2017/18 winter season – if you are producing regular content, please contact [email protected] for custom package options.
