It’s a Rukus in the Rockies

This past weekend Monster held of of the best events of the year at Lake Louise. Ruckus in the Rockies is in its second year and combines a fun snowboard team contest with a massive party in a spectacular venue. Mark Sollors walked away with a brand new Kawasaki 250F after battling friend and teammate Dustin Craven in the final.

The Lodge of Ten Peaks at Lake Louise is a spectacular venue for a huge party and we brought the DJ lineup to do it justice. Pump and Illo started things off followed by Mat the Alien. The sold-out crowd was already frothing by the time LA’s own Z-trip took the stage, and he didn’t disappoint. His set combined rock and beats in a way that only he can do, and no matter what your musical taste, there was something in it for you. After he was done, Pump and Mat joined him on stage for an impromptu scratch battle that had everyone in the crowd in a frenzy. With the recent loss of MCA from the Beastie Boys, the DJ’s paid tribute and none more than z-trip who had recently worked with them.
