Adidas Welcomes Eric Jackson

I could come up with something to say about E-jack, but Adidas already wrote up this nice little paragraph, so just read that.

Crowley Lake, California is where John and Eric Jackson call home, and the sleepy town set in the peripheries of Mammoth Lakes is where Eric and his brother not only found snowboarding, but also fell in love with the outdoors. As a rebellious upstart under the wing of the raucous Grenade Gloves crew in the early 2000s, Eric was a pipe phenom who was well on his way to snowboarding celebrity but before long, the solitude of the surrounding Sierra range’s terrain came calling, and Eric wilfully transitioned his skill set away from pipe walls and park jumps and instead opted to ride more backcountry booters and blower pow. Since then, E-Jack has become one of the most prestigious off-piste luminaries in professional snowboarding, and he’s just getting started. After his breakout season two years ago, Eric has his sights set on deeper snow, further locales, and ultimately, taking his riding to a whole new level, and in his WELCOME documentary, E-Jack goes into much more detail about how his career has come to be.

The Nike Snowboarding Project: Chapter 3

If you feel like Nike has taken over Yobeat right now, it’s because they have, and it’s all because of the release of this here video. Head into the great wide backcountry with Gigi Ruf, Nicolas Muller, Danny Kass and Eric Jackson and get kinda jealous that you’re not this good at snowboarding.

Eric Jackson Gets Hexed

HEX, the California based tech functionality and fashion-forward accessories company, is proud to announce that snowboarder Eric Jackson has officially joined the team.

“We are so stoked to welcome Eric into the HEX family,” said Carl Steindler, marketing manager at HEX. “Not only is Eric just an all around mellow dude that radiates good vibes, but he is also one of the most naturally gifted snowboarders we have seen in a long time. That, coupled with his knowledge of the outdoors makes him a perfect fit for us and we look forward to putting that information to good use.”

Eric Jackson, known to most as “Ejack”, is arguably one of the world’s best all-around snowboarders. He was raised in the Crowley Lake area of Mammoth Mountain, California, where he still resides and continues to push the limits of backcountry riding. Growing up with his older brother, John, has also helped shape him as a rider and given him one of the best mentors any snowboarder could ask for. When Ejack is not out travelling the world, with snowboard in tow, he can be found at home fly fishing, camping, snowmobiling and exploring the mountains that surround him.

“Practically everybody who sees my iPhone asks me where I got the case, not to mention the nano® watchbands and bags which completely blow them away,” said Eric. “It feels so good to be a part of a brand that supports me and makes such fresh products…the sky’s the limit!”

In addition to HEX, Eric also rides for: Nike Snowboarding, Libtech, Dakine, Von Zipper, Frends and Mammoth Mountain.

To rub in the fact they have “the most snow in the world” Mammoth made this video. If you are in Mammoth, you will be happy to see the lengths they have taken to allow you to enjoy it safely. If you are elsewhere (Utah excluded) you can watch it to feel jealousy. Riding by Gabe Taylor, Tucker Watson, and Eric Jackson.
