Armed with a cooler of juice boxes, string cheese, pirate booty for the kids and some ciders in cans for the barer of my children, we headed to Milo Movie Night & Grand Opening in Auburn CA. To be on my snowboard squad you have to be over 35 or under 7, those are just the rules. The night was a ton of fun with Milo Sport’s new shop to check out, red carpet photo booth, Knee Deep Brewing Company pouring beers and 32’s “2032” and Airblaster’s “Side Hit Society” playing on the big screen. Milo Sport has always been known for having impeccable taste in selecting products to carry and it has all you could ask for at its new location. The shop also has some serious snowboard and skateboard history hanging on the walls to check out, my favorite was the collection of VHS 411 videos!
The illustrious boards n motion staff.
After 25 years, the closing of Boards in Motion left a huge hole in the snowboard community here. It was easy to feel the excitement throughout the night of having a legit shop opening its doors in Northern California! Thanks to Jason Watson, George Johnston, Alex Packer and Levi Guthrie for the great night!
The shop is located at 905 Lincoln Way #300, Auburn, CA 95603 or check them out online at milosnowandskate.com
