Jimi Scott Wants You to Know Your Snowboard History

We remember Jimi Scott. How could we forget? He was the guy who got pelted with beer cans at the open and people chanted rollerskates at. We also vaguely remember his runs being a few feet below everyone elses, though super technical, and he often podiumed at major contests. But that’s not exactly what he wants us to remember, apparently. Last night, Jimi decided to take advantage of the History of Snowboarding community to put it out there once and for all.

    snowboarding needs to recognize me!!! remember i was like the first to use my toe strap extended to go over my actual toes, therefore changing the game of snowboarding back in the early 2000’s and inventing the toe cap strap!!!!! you all owe me money and sexual favors!! Im just syaing this because i care about the history of snowboarding and you all suck!!! I also invented backflips by accident when i hit a wicked steep kickah!! YOU ARE WELCOME SNOWBOARDING.

    Yobeats is a little bias to its east coast friends. Jimi brought progression to the sport when most people were just trying to make a heel turn. He should be thanking him for pushing for better halfpipes.
