Mt. High Gets Chosen

Not good at social media but still want to take part in Nike’s Chosen contest? Then you should get to Mtn. High (or one of the other stops on the Chosen Series Tour) for a chance to win actual money at an open amateur snowboarding contest. Trust us, Nike’s money spends really well.

This season Nike released the perfect platform for snowboarders to step up their game and ride alongside some of the world’s greatest Pros. Ten of Nike’s top riders will be converging on Mountain High Friday, January 6th, for the only Southern California stop in its winter Chosen series. The event takes place from 5pm to 9pm and is FREE to anyone with a lift ticket or season pass. You don’t want to miss this event! Riders will be sessioning Mountain High’s “Playground” jib park with more than $3,000 in cash and prizes on the line. As always, the Nike production includes tons of lights, smoke, music and action as Southern California’s finest throw down under the stars. DJ Slipmat will be rockin the ones & twos and Vonzipper’s GT is scheduled to work the mic.

For up and coming riders looking to get noticed and to shred with some of the best riders on the planet, the Nike Chosen Series is the perfect opportunity. The course includes three separate Quarterpipes strung together by two, large corrugated tubes, Nike’s signature rainbow box painted by, a large stair set, and a cement down ledge. Registration begins at 2pm in the West base lodge and, as mentioned earlier, this event is FREE so get here early. You must be 18 or over to compete and HELMETS ARE REQUIRED.
