Danny Davis and Kelly Clark Win Midweek Mammoth Grand Prix

The Olympics are an amazing phenomenon. Because of the Games, Kevin Pearce’s unfortunate accident is major news, and uniformed talking heads can be found on “reputable” news programs discussing how “Extreme sports are just for the ratings,” and other completely uniformed musings. But, as they say, the show must go on and stop two of the Grand Prix is happening right now at Mammoth. This is actually a more important stop in the chase for gold than many realize, as it is the final “open” event. If you don’t statistically have a chance of making the team after this stop, you are SOL for the uncoming Park City events.
