How to Claim a Jump
A. Find the most Hollywood Hit in your area, that is in the proximity of a chairlift.
B. Scope out your line, then hike up and down a few times just to gain people's interest.
C. When you have a nice potpouri of a crowd (all the local bros, some cute guys,a couple skiers) gathering, hike up this time with the intentions of actually hitting it.
D. Make sure a photographer is ready and drop it.
E. Ride away like a champ.
F. Then proceed to take off your board, run up to the landing and raise your arms in triumphant glory.
G. Whether people thought it was cool or not, they will be talking about you for a couple days to come. As Madonna says, any coverage is good coverage, as long as they spell your name right.
