Glam Rock. The big hair, the gaudy make up, and the complete lack of talent. Why, you say, would we choose to devote an entire issue to this dead music genre? Perhaps because "Glam Rock to the Bone" is a whole lot more catchy than "Snowboard Rock to the Bone", but the real reason is that we wanted eighties butt rockers to read and enjoy issue 10, our music issue.

Music, afterall, influences everything we do. Snowboarding, skateboarding and otherwise being extreme is so much easier set to a back drop of happy pop-punk or hardcore speed metal. Why else would there be so many festivals with both music, sports and a lot of alterna jocks saying things like, "It's just so cool to be able to listen to music while I'm being extreme"? Now your probably rolling your eyes, and saying god damn, this has turned into another corporate trash magazine. Don't worry, we still don't have any advertisements, I'm just trying to sound cool like the editors note I read in The Source. The real reason why we decided to have a music issue? Music is much more popular than extreme sports, and with the demise of so many snowboard magazines, we figured we'd better branch out now, and because Warp is so damn cool.

If your still interested, I hope you didn't go to the Warped Tour this year, because we have just about anything you could ever want to know about it in this very issue, as it is, the only thing I really did this summer. ~ Brooke Geery
