Peter, taking advantage of his super-stardom with some girl, oh wait, that's me.

What do you do when you’re are the most popular snowboarder in the world, and you’re turning twenty-five? What if you also ride for the coolest company of the hour? If you’re Peter Line you demand a birthday party including a porn star, free drinks, limos, and hundred of girls willing to go home with you at the first mention of your name.

At least, I assume that was Peter’s intention. I know that he told the guys at Forum they better throw him a party, but the rest, I’m guessing. Since Peter does have some clout with Four Star Distribution, his party was held August 5th, at a club called Status, in Fullerton, CA.

There was indeed free drinks, and after a few too many of them, Pete started tossing about his seemingly endless supply of free drink tickets like they were

worthless pieces of paper, which, technically, they were. There was also a porn star named Skye, one of Vivid Video’s major starlets. She spent most of the evening being trailed by her bodyguards, but wasn’t above a few pictures with ogling boys, obsessed with her fake breasts. Even Pete got a taste, when in somewhat of a drunken stupor he pulled up her shirt and touch her nipple with his tongue. How’s that for publicity?

While I expected an event like Peter Line’s birthday to have much more of an industry draw, there was a real lack of industry insiders at the event. They all stayed in the VIP area all night anyway, so your average joe out on the dance floor couldn’t even sneak a gander at Tine Basich, or more importantly, Travis Wood. Other guests who may be impressive include Sal Masekela

and Crazy Al Traves, and of course Snowboarder Senior Editor, Mark Sullivan.

Okay, so there’s not much to report, but Transworld covered Tina Basich’s party, so we figured we needed some sort of copy of that. Of course, Nathan Yant from Transworld was there, so they’ll probably beat me too this, but oh well, Peter Line gave me a drink. I bet Nate can’t say that.
